The Slackers return to Metropolis with their own crazy style of music mixing Imaginary-Jamaican-Rock-and-Roll, Punk and Horns (brass, not bone!).
Muff Said - There's an instant blast to Muff Said, a combination of a brassy sound and the outright brashness of frontwoman Liz.
With four woman in their seven-strong line-up its temping to root them in post-punk attitude girl bands like Delta 5 and Au Pairs or 2-Tones Selecter, not least because theres strong echoes of those sounds in the mix. - Venue Magazine. |
